Cadet NCO Roles & Responsibilities

 

 

Cadet Corporal:

The main responsibilities and activities expected of a junior NCO:

1.       Control a section of cadets under his/her direct supervision.

2.       Maintain good conduct, behaviour and discipline.

3.       Exercise appropriate responsibilities for the welfare of cadets.

4.       Plan, organize and/or carry out tasks as allocated.

5.       Carry out responsibilities in accordance with squadron fire orders.

 

 

Cadet Sergeant:

The main responsibilities and activities expected of a cadet SGT:

1.       Perform the responsibilities and activities of a JNCO.

2.       Manage and control a flight of cadets under his/her direct supervision.

3.       Assist the squadron staff in the management of the squadron and development of junior cadets and JNCOs.

4.       Participate in the planning and organization of squadron activities.

5.       Be able to recognise potential welfare problems.

6.       Possess a general knowledge of the ATC.

 

 

Cadet Flight Sergeant:

The main responsibilities and activities expected of a cadet flight sergeant

1.       Perform the responsibilities and activities of a SNCO.

2.       Give lessons from the ATC syllabus.

 

 

Staff Cadet Warrant Officer:

The main responsibilities and activities expected of a CWO

1.       Perform the responsibilities and activities of a SNCO.

2.       Give lessons from the ATC syllabus.

3.       Aid the general running of the squadron as a member of staff.
